Malaga Airport has specific information for disabled travelers
There is a new terminal with excellent facilities for disabled travelers.

On arrival your UK airline will have organised your transfer through the airport to our pick up point.
On departure Malaga airport has people who will come to the car to meet you and guide you through the check-in procedure and on through the airport. If you are being transferred by us then we will stay with you until the airport staff are there.
We are able to arrange for airport transfers for folding wheelchairs, walkers etc.
At the moment we are not able to transfer guests in electric chairs.
There are 4 bedrooms at Brazos Abiertos all of them are on the ground floor,all are accessible for wheelchair users.
Details of the accessible rooms are provided further on.
Arrival, Car Parking & Entrance
The area between the car drop off point and the building is level.
The car drop off point is at the side of the Hotel/Casa Rural.
There are no height restrictions for adapted cars and vans.
There is a set down point about 10m from the main entrance.
There is level access to the living room and reception area.
There is a manual opening door which is 90cm wide.
Entry to the Villa
There is a large,open plan living room (80 sqm)including the bar area.
The whole building is level,no steps or ramps.In addition all routes to the pool are level.
The lounge area has a variety of seating and tables.
There is a choice of seating elsewhere in the area (with and without armrests),and tables have clear space beneath them of up to 73cm.
The bar has two heights 107 cm and 83 cm.
Tables in the bar area have clear space beneath them of up to 73 cm.
The cupboard for glasses has a maximum height of 83 cm and the chiller for cold drinks has a maximum height of 84 cm.
There is an accessible WC leading off from the living room with a sliding door 85 cm.
There is a fold down rail to one side of the WC.
Access to bedrooms
There is a single door (90 cm)leading from the living room into the courtyard where the four bedrooms are situated.There is level access to the bedrooms.
Accessible Bedrooms
There are 4 bedrooms at this Brazos Abiertos all of them are on the ground floor. All of them are accessible.
All Rooms can be either twin bedded or 1 king size bed.
The room has a door which has an opening of 85cm and opens into the room.
The door handle and keyway are 96cm and 1m high.
The bedrooms are large with a tiled floor surface.
There is a lowered hanging rail in the wardrobe.
The beds are 550 mm high to the top of the mattress.
There is clear space under the desk of 740mm.
There is a flat screen DVD player with remote control.
All light switches and sockets have been lowered and the light and fan can be controlled from the bed.
The bedrooms have two windows both have lowered handles.
Ensuite shower room & WC
All rooms have roll in en suite wet rooms. The doors to the wet rooms are 85cm clear opening inwards into the wet room.
There is clear floor space 2.2m x 2.14m in this room.
The hand basin has a small lever operated tap and space beneath it.
There is fold down rail on one side of the WC, and a vertical rail on the wall.
The WC is 40cm high.
Toilet seat risers are available.
There is a level access shower.
There is a roll in shower chair available
There are two horizontal handrails in the shower area.
The shower controls are 1.2m and 1.5m high
Outside areas
The swimming pool has a ‘Roman End’ with three steps (the first step in is 6cm and the second step is 8cm and the final step in is 5cm)
There is a metal handrail to assist guests down the steps. The depth of the pool is from 56cm to 1.16m.
There is a powered Virmedic pool hoist which has a safe working load maximum of 185kg.
There is a ramped pathway down to the BBQ HutThere is a large front terrace approximately 150sqm, partly shaded.

There is a medical centre in the village of Iznajar 5 minutes drive along with two pharmacies.
